CASE STUDY • BAYLINKS • HERVEY BAY, QUEENSLAND
Linking lifestyle & location by the ocean.
A rebrand that turned sales from lagging launch to waitlists.
THE CHALLENGE
Baylinks had been to market before and stalled. Blocks sat on the market and price negotiations were a regular occurrence. A weak logo and limited sales material meant it struggled, and drawn-out subdivision and council delays had soured prospective buyers' opinion of the project. Sentiment was low, sales were lagging, and only one to two stages had sold.
The estate itself was excellent. The brand wasn't doing it justice.
THE BRIEF
Refresh the image, while keeping the Baylinks name, to rebuild buyer confidence and get sales moving again.
THE STRATEGY
My strategy was lean into the one thing competitors couldn't match: the lifestyle and proximity to the water. From there I rebuilt the brand end to end: a new logo, directed photography that sold the location and lifestyle, a fresh brand identity, and the full suite of marketing collateral the sales team needed to relaunch with confidence.
THE RESULT
Sustained demand, release after release.
The rebrand turned the project around. Sales took off and have stayed strong, with stages now consistently selling out before the next one is even released, creating waitlists of buyers holding out for the next release.

GROUND TO GRAND SYSTEM
You're selling a feeling, a future home by the water, long before there's anything to walk through.
01 Groundwork · Strategy
We started with the location: Baylinks sits adjacent to the Hervey Bay Golf Club, a short walk to the esplanade, shops and cafés. That became the strategic heart of the brand: linking lifestyle and location. We mapped the three buyer types, and positioned the estate against competing Fraser Coast land.
02 Build · Brand & Identity
A coastal identity drawn from the bay itself. A coastal colour palette drawn from the kingfisher, the pier and the tree-lined streets, and a visual world that reads as calm, premium and liveable. The masterplan was designed to be genuinely inviting to read, so buyers could picture themselves in a specific block
